Awinda is currently the Director of Graphics and Marketing for Higher Ground International (HGI), a non-denominational church located in Pennsylvania. She also works part time as Direct Support Staff through Circle of Support providing support to individuals with mental and intellectual disabilities in Community Living Arrangements. Awinda has experience training and working with volunteers in various capacities through her position at HGI. She earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Horticulture from Temple University and a certificate in Health Coaching & Nutrition from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). Awinda has a passion for helping individuals become their best selves through community engagement initiatives and believes that everyone has their own gift to offer their world – it just has to be nurtured in the right environment.
